Color
Homework: Pick 4 pairs of opposite words (ie "heavy" and "light"). For each pair, hand-letter the two words together, using TWO principles of contrast (as outlined in our book and in class) to illustrate the difference in their meaning. You may only use each principle once.
Do each set on a seperate sheet of 8.5"x11" paper - you should have 4 pages.

Homework: Create a pattern in photoshop, using found imagery. Download an image,
remove it from its background, put it on a new background (can be another image,
solid color, or other design). Use this composite as your pattern element and
repeat it in your own design. Print out and bring to class to hand in.
