homework: download, fill out, print Survey/Bio. Attach a photo of yourself.

Week Two - 1/10
Basic Animation Principles
Homework: 1. choose one of the Assignments listed on the Animation Principles Page. Create a flipbook of it. 2. Read chapters 2, 3, 4.

Week Three - 1/17

Introduction to Macromedia Flash animation
2nd half of class - Lab. Meet in CTI 722
Homework: 1. Read chapters 5, 6, and 7. 2. watch this presentation (about 1 hour). 3. Convert your flipbook from last week into a Flash animation. Experiment with motion/shape tweening and frame-by-frame animating with onion skinning. 4. Bring video or DVD with interesting title sequence to class

Week Four - 1/24

Motion Graphics, Text Animating and Title Sequences
2nd half of class - Lab. Meet in CTI 722
Homework: 1. finish animating walk cycle, and incorporate it into your first project.
2. signup for free website at Tripod (if you already have a web account, you can ignore this) 3. Read Chapter 16 - Publishing and Exporting 4. Publish your project on Tripod or other site Email me the link to your flash site (html) before class!!!
